Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account — that's all we ask Google for. We don't receive or store your Google password.

We also store what you choose to submit or post while using the site: product listings, comments, and upvotes.

How we use it

• To create and maintain your account, and recognize you when you sign back in.
• To display your name and photo next to products you submit and comments you post.
• To review submissions before they're published, and to enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your information, and we don't currently run analytics or advertising trackers on the site.

Cookies & sessions

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. It's essential to the site working and isn't used for tracking or advertising.

Sharing

We share account information with Google only as part of the sign-in process itself (via Google's standard OAuth flow). We don't share your data with any other third party.

Content you submit — product listings, comments, your name and photo — is public by design, since this is a public directory.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account or specific content deleted, contact us using the details below and we'll take care of it.

Children's privacy

LaunchDodo isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
